Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Uncased tintype bust portrait of a man in a dark uniform coat with an eagle visible on his shoulder boards, identifying the rank of colonel. Blair organized and commanded the 1st Missouri Infantry Volunteers as colonel in April 1861, which then re-organized as the 1st Missouri Light Artillery after the battle of Wilson’s Creek. He was promoted to general in Aug. 1862, so the picture must have been taken between April 1861 and August 1862. The picture is with a small green card that identifies him.
