English: Frank's Tank by Isle of Purbeck Golf Club Local tradition has it that the water tank was put it to provide water for establishing the plantation between Rempstone Forest and Kingswood Heath. Whoever Frank was and why the tank was put there, it is one of the few landmarks in a remote area of heath and plantation, and lies at a junction of paths. |
