Fragment of a Roman dragonesque brooch
Description
English: A fragment of a cast copper alloy Romanm dragonesque brooch dating to the early Roman period. The fragment comprises part of the hemispherical section body and the foot; it appears that all breaks are ancient. The underside of the brooch is hollow rather than flat. The brooch measures 37mm in length and 20mm in width.
