Summary
[edit]DescriptionFourth spring warbler (of spring) (51161719952).jpg |
There are two yellow-throated warblers in this park. I heard the first one and spent 45 minutes with my neck at a -90° angle hoping it would descend from the dizzying heights of the sycamore it was perched in. I gave up and wandered off. Five minutes later I'm staring at this dude who decided he was just gonna floof out and preen in a bush at eye level. Birds are weird. Also, to be fair, the fourth spring warbler of spring was actually a black-throated green I found in a hemlock tree outside one of our ambulance stations this week. He was also hanging out at eye level while I impotently stared at him, cameraless. So because he was a jerk, he's disqualified. |
