The Toucan. THE SNIPES NEST. titles on the banks of the Mississippi and Ohiorivers. Another bird belonging to the same order isthe toucan. It has the strangest bill, broad and thickand long as its body, almost. In fact, it is immense.The toucan is found in South America, and is sometimes called Parson Toucan, because one keepschattering continually from his perch on some hightree, while a number of his companions sit on thebranches beneath him, fast asleep.
