English: The Fraser Mansion, home to the Founding Church of Scientology since 1995 (the original Scientology church is around the corner), located at 1701 20th Street, N.W., in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed by the Hornblower & Marshall firm in 1890, the building is a combination of Beaux-Arts, Neo-Renaissance, and Romanesque Revival architecture. The Fraser Mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and is designated as a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District. |
