Description
English: Founders and Benefactors Book of Tewkesbury Abbey: Fol. 18v Richard II de Clare, Earl of Gloucester and Hertford (d. 1262), wears a red hat, armour, with fur-lined cape over heraldic surcoat. He holds a green leafy branch and a document: in 1243 he reconfirmed his father's grant of Mythe wood. Three shields. Fol. 19r Text page with one large shield at base of page.
