Description
English: Mammal bones in a fossiliferous fluvial deposit in the Pliocene of Nebraska, USA.

This is a fossil quarry excavated in a Pliocene-aged, fluvial sand and gravel deposit in northeastern Nebraska. Identified organisms at the site include: Equus idahoensis (also known as Equus simplicidens, an extinct horse species), Gigantocamelus (an extinct camel), Hesperotestudo (an extinct turtle), and Stegomastodon (an extinct elephant).
