Bolger, commander of the 1st Cavalry Division and Multi-National Division-Baghdad, sign a document to officially hand Forward Operating Base Rustamiyah back over to the Iraqi government during a transfer ceremony on the FOB March 31 in eastern Baghdad. The Baghdad base is the first main compound in the city handed back to the Iraqi government since the signing of the security agreement signed by the U.S. and Iraqi government late last year. |
