English: Lt. Col. Larry Croucher, commander of the 3rd Cavalry Regiment ready rear detachment, takes off at the start of the Fourth Annual Salado Midnight Madness 5k held Aug. 1 in Salado, Texas. The event was hosted by the Salado Chamber of Commerce and featured a nighttime race with runners wearing glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces while running a designated route on Thomas Arnold Road. Officers from the Salado Police department as well as first responders were also on hand to ensure safety and keep runners on course. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
