Number 4 of the 15 cm bunker guns is also in the disassembled state today like number 3. During the active time, with all four guns were shot for practice. The target area was the Schaner Alp near the Alvier mountain at a distance of 15 km. An incident that has come to light while the shooting with these guns: One afternoon at 3:00 pm, all four guns were fired simultaneously because of a misunderstanding, which was actually prohibited. Thereby a greenhouse of a gardening shop in Pfäfers was damaged. St. Margrethenberg, Switzerland, May 3, 2013. |
