Description
English: Shape memory effect: Phase transformation between high temperature phase (austenite) and low temperature phase (martensite). By heating a deformation of the material is reversed.
Deutsch: Formgedächtniseffekt: Phasenumwandlung zwischen Hochtemperaturphase (Austenit) und Niedrigtemperaturphase (Martensit). Durch Erwärmen wird eine Verformung des Materials rückgängig gemacht.
