| Description |
English: Formerly magnificent The earthwork bumps in this landscape are all that remains of the amazing formal gardens of Old Campden House, Chipping Campden. The mansion was destroyed in the Civil War, sweeping away huge gardens with serious landscaping, a canal and formal plantings. The section of wall to the right is all that remains of the mansion, with its surviving West Banqueting House (now a holiday let by the Landmark Trust) in the background. |
