Formerly employed in a vacuum cleaner plant, these young women are now making gas masks for America's soldiers and civilians. Margaret Reed, left, who used to work in the vacuum brush department, now operates a precrimping machine which attaches eye rings to the mask proper. Note the "V" chalked on her machine.
