| Description |
English: Former theological college, 527 Finchley Road Hackney Theological Seminary (later College) was founded in 1803 in Hoxton and moved in 1887 to this purpose-built brick building with majolica dressings. It was a non-conformist institution co-founded by George Collison, confusingly calling itself Hackney College even when it moved here. It was concerned with the training of ministers for the congregational church, one of which was built beside it 1894.
Later it became part of the New College London and now houses the European School of Management. |
