Description
English: Former streetcar tracks showing through the parking lot of Sullivan Square station in April 2017. The tracks first showed through the pavement around 2015, and were covered up or removed in a 2018 repaving. This curved section connected tracks on Main Street/Broadway (and via a second curved section to the northwest, Mystic Avenue) to the upper level of Sullivan Square station. It was used by streetcars on Broadway until route 101 was replaced by trackless trolleys in 1947, and on Mystic Avenue until route 100 was replaced by buses in 1955.
