English: Former shipyard joinery shop. Former Caledonian Joinery Shop on Ardgowan Street, Port Glasgow. The white building on the right was the West End Bar which was a working man's pub serving mostly shipyard workers. It had a special licence to open at 07:00 to enable night shift workers to enjoy a pint on the way home! |
