Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Former railway water tank
A surprising survivor on the old Midland main line at Millers Dale is this water tank which would have fed two or three water columns on the platforms of Millers Dale station. The grid reference is a bit of a best guess here, because I can't see the tank on aerial shots (and it's eight years since I took this!) but it's not far off.
