English: Former ordnance depot - Weedon Bec. Built in the Napoleonic era to supply the army and to act as a royal bolthole if necessary. Originally accessed via canal and later by railway. It is now no longer military and one of its uses is as a store for the national collection of fire engines, with some visible in the distance. |
