English: Former national school near Carrickfergus According to the datestone this former national school was built in 1859. It is slightly surprising that it has survived as a ruin and not been converted to or replaced by a house. There is a plaque above the door but the name of the school has been defaced but read Bellahill Male National School. It is on the Beltoy Road. |
