| Description |
English: Former harbourmaster's house Built c1860. Now a restaurant.
The sea would once have lapped against its walls - there would have been a slipway from the basement level for launching a boat - but with the building of a car park around 1990 it now sits marooned in tarmac. The haze is a mixture of mist and diesel smoke drifting over from the harbour (about 50m to the right of picture). |
