| Description |
English: Former freight store - Stranraer Town station Stranraer Town station closed in 1966, although the site was used for locomotive storage and servicing for some years thereafter. While the station buildings have been demolished and most track seemingly lifted, some former railway structures remain including this freight store which, judging from its concrete construction, probably dates from the LMS era. The lane to the left leads to other ex-railways buildings, now in private ownership and used as a scrap yard to which there is no public access. |
