Description
English: Former elementary school Kirchschule at Alte Bahnhofstraße 12 in Bochum-Langendreer, Germany. It used to be the oldest school in North Rhine-Westphalia and started operating in 1605. The elementary school was closed in 2014. The photo shows the school and the school yard in October 2017. Starting in 2019, the school has been renovated for 4 million euro, of which 3.3 million euro came from the EU. Since 9 January 2023, the building is housing a music school.[1][2][3]
