English: Former cattle enclosure - northern wall. This is the northern wall of a cattle enclosure that lay at the end of a drove road, and which was in use until the late nineteenth century; see 1043828.
Shown here is the eastern half of the enclosure's northern wall (its western half is very overgrown with ferns); the line of this wall runs through the photographer's position, and recedes into the distance (in the direction of the poles). Previous: 1101797. Next: 1101806. |
