Summary

[edit]
Description

Tower of former St Mary the Virgin Church, Hunslet, West Yorkshire, England. View from the south-east. This church was rebuilt for a larger congregation and to updated standards in 1862-1864, to the design of Perkin and Backhouse. The nave is missing; it was to the right of the tower.

The right (east) side of the tower has been rebuilt up to a point just below the level of the clock, to compensate for the loss of the original nave.
