English: Former Shop and Kendal House, Heptonstall. Note the outside staircase up to the house over the former shop. The house to the right is Kendal House. The stone kneelers at the lower end of each gable are a feature of many of the buildings of Heptonstall. The entrance to the central car park is between these buildings; tourists are supposed to use a car park to the south of the village . |
