| Description |
English: Former Mine Office, Boulby Ironstone Mine. The Boulby Ironstone Mine was established in 1903. The first drift was 200m or so south across the A174 (NZ761186) with a second drift adjacent to this building. The pit yard containing workshops, heapstead, picking belt, sidings etc. was located on the site of the present Boulby Potash Mine (NZ760180). The mine office now seems to be used as a holiday chalet. View east with Staithes in the distance.
