| Description |
English: Former Jacknet Almshouses, King Street The Almshouses on this site were built in 1790, but have now been converted into townhouses. The nearer half (3-4 bedrooms) is currently on the market at an asking price of £420,000.
On the near wall an old painted advertisement can just be read "Centaur Cycles are the best the World Produces". This probably dates from the time that the building across the passage, now Gallery 96, housed a cycle agent. |
