Deutsch: ehem. Congregational Church, Hope Park Terrace, Edinburgh, 1876 in lombardisch-romanischem Stil erbaut. Der Davidsschild über dem Portal könnte leicht den Eindruck erwecken, der Bau sei einst eine Synagoge gewesen, was aber nicht der Fall war.
English: former Congregational Church, Hope Park Terrace, Edinburgh, built in 1876 in the Lombardy-Romanesque style. The Shield of David over the doorway could easily give the impression that this building is a former synagogue, which it was not. |
