Their heads were small,—keen pointed earsstanding straight forward, with mild eyes, thoughspirited looking. They were well rounded and sleekas satin, and it was hard to tell which was the faster.Such a perfect match had not been easy to find, andthe young man seemed to know it and look upon themwith eyes that bespoke how proud he was ofthem. The young man himself was wellworth looking at. He was a fair haired youth, withclear healthy complexion, a nose rather aquiline, deepset blue eyes, a brow that was broad and full.
