| Description |
English: Forestry roads, Great Ridge near Chicklade. Here a forestry road looking north near the centre of Great Ridge splits, with the road on the left turning west, and the one in front, which is also a bridleway, continuing north. The woods of Great Ridge are part ancient oak woodland and part commercially forested conifer woodland. Beyond the trees after the junction, Grim's Ditch crosses the road on the OS map, but there is little evidence of this on the ground. See also 469839 |
