| Description |
English: Forestry road and bridleway, Great Ridge near Chicklade This is a forestry road on the southern side of Great Ridge, which is also a bridleway, and which goes down to Chicklade Bottom on the A303 trunk road. On the left is Limekiln Wood, and on the right the woods of Chilfinch Hanging. The woods of Great Ridge are part ancient oak woodland and part commercially forested conifer woodland, and are owned by the Fonthill Estate. |
