Fordonsmina 14 används som syftmina för bekämpning av lätt pansrade och opansrade mål. Minan verkar genom splitter och tryck som uppstår vid genomslag i sidan på fordonet (-RSV IV). Genomslagskroppen verkar på avstånd upp till 150 meter men skjutavståndet bör inte överstiga 50 meter om orginalsiktet används. Med hänsyn till terrängen och målet sätts minan upp på lämpligt träd eller påle. Med siktet riktas minan in vinkelrätt mot målets mest troliga färdriktning. Minan får endast maskeras med gräs, tunna lövverk eller maskeringsduk. Minkropp: Sprängladdningen består av gjuten hexotol med primärladdning av pressad hexogen, materialet i genomslagskroppen är koppar. Höljet, som tillsammans med genomslagskroppen omger sprängladdningen, är av plast. På minkroppens ovansida finns ett siktesfäste med skydd. På minans undersida finns en kulled med låsknopp. Splitter från genomträngningen skadar personal och material i fordonet. Minan är osäkrad när säkringssprinten tas bort. Minan tänds av en sprängpatron apterad i primärladdningens sprängkapselläge. Tändningen kan ske med bipackad utlösningsanordning eller med elsprängpatron. Utlösningsanordningen består av en slagtändaranordning, ett slagtändarfäste, en rem samt en utlösningslina (180 meter dragtråd). Om elsprängpatron används tillsammans med annat tändsystem ska elsprängpatronen fixeras med eltejp. Trädfästet består av en konsol och en rem (spikar i reserv). Sprängämnet består normalt av Hexotol. Räckvidd 150 meter. Maximalt genomslag: ca 60 mm pansar vid 90° anslagsvinkel. |
