English: Ford, Welsh Lane near Buffler's Holt A large percentage of the water in this stream flows under the road in a pipe, but, as can be seen here, when there is sufficient water it creates a ford - and the marker suggests it may get quite deep. For a view from an almost identical position - but at a drier time - see 162942 where there is also some extra information about the stream. |
