Description The French Navy’s Horizon-class air defense destroyer Forbin (D620) participates with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Mason (DDG 87) and USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) for a simulated Maritime Interdiction Operation. Mason, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theatre security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Inherent Resolve.
