Description
English: This photo shows a typical scene in downtown Pittsburgh in the early 1950's. It is taken at about 330 Forbes Avenue (named Diamond Street until 1958) looking northwest near Wood Street in 1951. In the background is one of the buildings of the Gateway Center under construction as well as the Diamond Market Building (demolished 1961). This photo was taken by John V. Mullen (1898-1966).
