Summary
[edit]DescriptionFootpath through wood looking towards disused railway line - geograph.org.uk - 652753.jpg |
English: Footpath through wood looking towards disused railway line This view is fairly near the end of the lengthy hard surfaced footpath which slowly descends from Burlish Top Nature Reserve to eventually link up with a private farm road (which is also a bridleway)that joins the A456 road near Bewdley. The disused railway line crosses the farm road on a viaduct in the very far distance but can't really be made out in this photo. The photo was taken in January so the trees are bare but the ground is still full of fallen leaves. Interestingly the current OS Explorer Map appears to indicate that the wooded area is only on one side of the footpath but along almost all of it is wooded on both sides, as can be seen from the photo. |
