Summary
[edit]DescriptionFootpath from Caversham Lock (geograph 2125835).jpg |
English: Footpath from Caversham Lock, along the backwater that separates Hills Meadow (on the left) from View Island (on the right). This footpath was once the only publicly accessible part of View Island, with the bulk of the island being leased out as private moorings. However the island has now reverted to public ownership and been converted into a rather wild park. Access is from this path, through a couple of entrances made in the fence seen to the right of the photo. |
