| Description |
English: Footpath along former railway line This public footpath at Knight's Hill follows the course of the old railway line between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, which was finally abandoned in 1965. Passenger traffic had ceased earlier, in April 1961, and the last goods train used the line in April 1965. The bridge in the foreground took the railway across a small stream. The shadow in the foreground is caused by the presence of an Environment Agency vehicle, whose driver was inspecting a nearby watercourse. |
