Summary
[edit]DescriptionFootpath - geograph.org.uk - 381433.jpg |
English: Footpath The photograph shows the remains of brick- and iron-work, which was once part of the upper section of a bridge that carried a track or lane between Stonebroom and Morton.
The bridge carried the track across a cutting for a railway line that ran between Morton and Mickley (near Stretton Hillside). Today the cutting is filled in under the bridge and the track or lane is reduced to a footpath. For a more southerly (ahead) photograph of the footpath, click here 381445. For a more northerly (behind the viewpoint) photograph of the footpath, click here 381192. |
