Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Footpath, Leat, Granite This is one of two leats cut into the steep granite valley side. In the 19th century these leats drove several waterwheels to provide mechanical power for various industrial processes involved with the mining in this area. Now they provide power to a small hydro-electric turbine at Ponts Mill, that effort however is being hampered by vandalism to the leats up here on the valley side.
