English: Footbridge over Canal at Prestolee The Manchester to Bolton canal is mostly overgrown and in some places filled in. The River Irwell is crossed by this canal by an aqueduct just beyond the footbridge shown in the photograph. The house on the hillside at Nob End has a derelict flight of locks leading to the Bury canal. |
