Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Footbridge across the East Lyn River. The East Lyn River is formed by the amalgamation of many "waters" that drain Exmoor. It actually becomes a river near Malmsmead when Badgworthy Water is joined by Oare Water, but that latter brook had only been so named since the confluence of Chalk Water and Weir Water a mile and a half to the southeast at Oareford. Here a footbridge can be seen crossing the river a few yards southeast of 687171. I have seen dippers on this river before now, but none were in evidence when I took this photo, though a wagtail had been flitting about he failed to make the photo.
