Description iconographique:

Fontaine de Léda, jardin du Luxembourg, 6ème arrondissement. Léda et le cygne, bas-reliefs de Valois signé : "A.VALOIS.1807 / POUR LA FONTAINE DE / LA RUE DU REGARD". Elle se trouve depuis 1858 dans le jardin du Luxembourg, au dos de la fontaine Médicis. Commentaire historique:

La fontaine dite "de Léda" se trouvait depuis le Premier Empire au coin de la rue du Regard et de la rue de Vaugirard. Son déplacement sera rendu indispensable par le percement des rues Saint-Placide et de Rennes. Elle occupe aujourd'hui le revers de la fontaine de Médicis.
