| Description |
English: Font, St Laurence's Church, Ridgewell This is a recent remodelling of the 14C / 15C font. The font cover is of the 17C. The original pedestal has been restored and a new octagonal bowl made, by John Green of Ipswich. The symbols are A (alpha), the date 2003, omega, the CHI-RHO, a dove, three strands of water flow representing the Trinity, a baptismal shell, a gridiron (on which St Laurence was martyred). |
