Description

Locks n° 6, view from the bridge of the lock keeper's dwelling. Note the oblong shape of the basins built in this way to resist the pressure generated by the mass of earth to be contained. Note also the double flights of stairs (all classified) giving access to the lock manoeuvring areas..
