Description
Italiano: Il fonografo è costituito da una base in legno, all'interno della quale è situato il motore a molla, e da un piano superiore in ghisa, dove si trova il mandrino. La base presenta uno zoccolo modanato nella parte bassa e un fregio corrente lungo la parte superiore; ai quattro angoli sono situate decorazioni a colonna. Il motore a molla che si trova all'interno è azionato dalla chiave in ebanite, posta sul fianco sinistro dell'apparecchio. Il motore, per mezzo di una cinghia di trasmissione in pelle, mette in rotazione il volano in cui è innestato l'asse del mandrino. L'asse inoltre, mediante delle ruote dentate, mette in rotazione anche la vite senza fine che, ruotando, trascina il supporto della testina lungo la guida parallela al mandrino, posta sul lato anteriore. Il braccio di supporto della testina passa al di sotto del mandrino. Il braccio del fonografo ospita un doppio supporto per la testina. Il supporto destro del mandrino è apribile per l'inserimento del cilindro.
