| Description | FOLSOM, Calif. (Dec.14, 2010) – Construction continues on an auxiliary spillway for Folsom Dam here Dec. 7. The spillway will allow for more manageable water releases from Folsom Lake to the lower American River, substantially reducing the risk of catastrophic flooding in the Sacramento metropolitan area. |
