English: So-called Portrait of Carlos, Prince of Asturias (1545-1568), but is probably a depiction of Charles IX of France (1550-1574).
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of King Charles IX (see images below) and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of Don Carlos.
