Description
Italiano: L'ottocentesca Piazza Cavour, nel cuore della città, ospita tre monumenti iconici:

L'elegante palazzo dell'acquedotto Pugliese, caratterizzato da due cupole angolari, il pronao della villa comunale in stile neoclassico, e la fontana del Sele, che venne inaugurata i primi del 900, su progetto dell’ing. Cesare Brunetti, ispirato da una stella marina a cinque punte. Inizialmente la fontana doveva servire solo per l'inaugurazione dell’Acquedotto e doveva essere smantellata per far posto ad una monumentale in bronzo e marmo che non fu mai più realizzata, rendendo quella del Sele un simbolo della città.

La “Domenica del Corriere”, prestigioso settimanale nazionale, dedicò, il giorno della inaugurazione, la copertina a cura di Achille Beltrame.
